The second
prophecy of Daniel, “after that which
appeared to me at the first,” is in two
parts - the first part a vision Daniel
did not understand and the second an
explanation, or meaning, conveyed by the
Archangel, Michael.
As we must go from what is known to what
is not yet known, we should start from
the meaning given by Michael then work
backwards to the vision itself.
Our starting point is mathematical,
being 2300 days. Again, as with Daniel
7, I paraphrase loosely and within my
right of free speech.
These 2300 days represent both mornings
and evenings, as Michael refers to the
prophecy as "the vision of the evening
and the morning." These mornings and
evenings represent the rise and fall of
an empire.
Michael refers to evenings and mornings
in that order to show the period is
symbolically one of darkness.
This tallies to a total of 4600 elapsed
days from the beginning of the empire to
its end.
The dark days of the Third Reich's era
of fascism began on the day Adolf Hitler
became Chancellor of Germany and ended
on the day of the signing of the
surrender of Japan.
The timeline of that empire was as
follows:
Hitler became Chancellor on 30 January
1933, the 1st day
so 31 January 1033 is
the 2nd day, and so on,

The total
number of days by this accounting is
4598 days or two days short of 4600.
Given we are talking of a global war, we
should also account for the one day time
difference across the international date
line, both for the rises and the falls,
another 2 days.
Looking now at the vision, this may be
done from the frame of reference of
Hitler, who was not German but an
Austro-Hungarian born in Braunau
am Inn.
In the period prior to the first world
war the Austro-Hungarian Empire was a
dual monarchy.
In the vision the first beast with two
heads represents the Austro-Hungarian
empire, the two heads representing that
dual monarchy.
The directions in which this empire
pushes are all directions except east
because the Austro- Hungary empire
included lands to the east within its
umbrella of friendly territory.
The horn that flies across the face of
the whole earth is not a local
neighbouring country but a distant
empire, in this instance the USA.
At the close of WWI, Austro-Hungary was
occupied by the US but the president,
Woodrow Wilson, was unable to persuade
Congress to conclude a peace deal that
would see his "Fourteen Points"
accepted, in particular point 10. In
this vacuum the Austro-Hungarian empire
lost peripheral territory to
neighbouring countries. Within its own
borders there were formed four new
republics that declared their
independence - these being Austria,
Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia.
Of these four, it was Austria that
produced Hitler.
This prophecy, then, predicted the first
two world wars and specifically included
the chosen people in the second. Michael
refers to the prophecy as events that
shall "befall thy people," a prophecy
the hearing of which makes Daniel faint,
after which he was sick "certain days"
before he could resume the business of
the king.
These events clearly include the
Holocaust and are further referred to in
the New Testament as occurring twice,
predicting the recurrence of National
Socialism without specifying where. But
it does specify the time frame as
"after... the first," so after the
invention of the smart phone.
